State Senate and House candidates will face off at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Kingston Town Hall, 26 Evergreen St., Kingston. Democratic Senate President Therese Murray and Republican challenger Thomas Keyes will face off for the Plymouth-Barnstable District Senate seat. Democrat Rep. Thomas Calter will debate Republican challenger Debra Betz for the 12th Plymouth District House seat.

The Plymouth Area League of Women Voters asks voters to submit questions for the upcoming forum. Questions should be submitted by Sunday, Sept. 23, to Mary Tousignant by email mptous@yahoo.com.
