All candidates will first be asked to respond to a series of opening
questions that they will have received in advance of the event. During
the event, audience-generated questions will be collected and passed on
to the moderator. Citizens that cannot attend the event may submit
questions by email to info@washington.lwvmd.org.
This will be the only nonpartisan election event presented by a group
that does not endorse any candidate.
The Forum will be broadcast on major networks, WHAG-TV and MCM
Channel 21 across all 5 counties for one hour. This is especially
important for Montgomery County voters, who are new to the 6th
District. WHAG-TV news personnel will moderate using the LWVUS
format.
