Event Description: 

The hospital (HRRMC) will be conducting an election on May 7 for the voters to decide on the proposal by the Hospital Board of Directors to eliminate term limits for the members of the Board of Directors. The Issue Forum will be a chance for the voters of the Hospital District to listen to both sides of this issue and to ask questions. Dan Downing, President, Hospital Board of Directors, will be speaking in support
of eliminating term limits and Merrell Bergin, Healthcare Software Applications Consultant, will speak on the merits of maintaining term limits.

The Issue Forum will be taped and made available on the LWVCC website: www.LWVchaffeecounty.org. DVDs will be available at the local libraries and printed information will be distributed locally as soon as possible after the Forum.
