In Pennington, Democrats Jim Davy (incumbent) and Charles Marciante, and Ross Holley (independent) are competing for two open seats on Borough Council.

In Hopewell Borough there are two candidates for two open seats on Borough Council. Since there is no contest, these candidates have not been invited to participate in the event. They are, however, Democrats David Mackie (incumbent) and Chris Fossel.

Residents of Hopewell Township and Pennington are invited to submit questions for use in the forum. Questions can be posted on the League website at hopewellvalleylwv.org or emailed to hvleague@gmail.com by Monday, Oct. 14. No questions will be accepted from the audience the night of the debate.
