The League of Women Voters of Knoxville/Knox County (LWVKKC) in conjunction with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), the Knoxville Interdenominational Christian Ministerial Alliance (KICMA), The Knoxville News Sentinel and WBIR-TV, will hold a moderated forum to inform voters about candidates running in the upcoming primary election on September 29.

John Becker, News Anchor at WBIR-TV, will moderate. Following the forum, the public is invited to meet candidates from 8 - 8:30 p.m. A Voter's Guide, with questions answered by City Council candidates, will be available.

All candidates for City Council have been invited to participate. Early voting begins the next day, September 9. All three organizations are non-partisan and do not endorse candidates.
