The League of Women Voters of the Holland Area will host a Candidate Forum for the Michigan House of Representatives 80th District special election. There are 8 candidates in the Republican primary election:

Eric M. DeWitt - Holland

Cindy Gamrat - Plainwell

Bill Sage - Allegan

James A. Siver - Fennville

Jim Storey - Holland

Shannon Szukala - Martin

Kevin Travis - Hopkins

Mary Whiteford - Allegan

The winner of the Republican primary election will run against the Democrat candidate David Gernant of Plainwell in the March special election.
