All candidates running for the following races have been invited to participate and we have arranged the schedule for the various debates so that residents of the 40th Legislative District can meet their candidates in the morning and residents of the 42nd Legislative District can meet their candidates in the afternoon.
40th Legislative District Representative, Position 1 9:45 am
Whatcom County Council At-Large Position B 11:00 am
Court of Appeals Division 1, District 3 Judge Position 1. 1:15 pm
42nd Legislative District State Senator 2:45 pm
42nd Legislative District Representative, Position 1 3:30 pm

More than two candidates are running for each of these positions and the top two will advance to the general election.

Candidates for each of these positions will respond to questions from the moderator and attendees may submit their questions for the candidates.

The public is encouraged to join us for lunch when all candidates are invited to meet and talk with you informally.

City of Bellingham will record the candidate debates for broadcast on BTV.
