The next election date is Tuesday, July 23, 2019 (Town of Troy Town Council Special Election and Lockhart Town Council Special Election). The registration deadline is Sunday, July 23, 2019.

In order to be a poll worker in South Carolina:

• You must be registered to vote in South Carolina
• You must be at least 18 years of age
• You must be a resident of the county 30 days prior to the election
• You must complete required training
• Students 16 years or older may serve as poll manager's assistant

You will be entitled to compensation. You can fill out the application to become a poll worker here!

You will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs on Election Day:

• South Carolina Driver's License
• ID Card Issued by South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles
• South Carolina Voter Registration Card with Photo
• Federal Military ID
• U.S. Passport
