District of Columbia Poll Worker Information

To serve as an Election Day Worker, you must:

  • Be a resident of DC
  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Complete at least four hours of training before each election

If you are selected and assigned to a polling place, hours of work are:

Georgia Poll Worker Information

In order to be a poll worker in Georgia:

  • You must be at least 16 years of age
  • You must be a resident of the county that you apply for
  • You must complete required training
  • You will be entitled to compensation

Florida Poll Worker Information

In order to be a poll worker in the state of Florida:

  • You must be registered to vote in Florida
  • You must be at least 18 years of age or 17 and pre registered
  • You must be a resident of the county
  • You will be entitled to compensation
  • You must complete required training

Alabama Poll Worker Information

In order to be a poll worker in Alabama:

  • You must be registered to vote in Alabama
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must be a resident of the precinct
  • You must state your political affiliation
  • You must complete the required training
  • You will be entitled to compensation

California Poll Worker Information

In order to be a poll worker in California:

  • You must be registered to vote in California
  • You must be at least 18 years of age
  • You must be a resident of the precinct
  • You must complete required training
  • Students who are 16 years or older may work if they are in good standing with a GPA of a 2.5 and above
